On behalf of the BHS Old Scholars Association (BHS OSA), its Board, Office and Membership around the world, OSA President Nazih Khattar would like to take this opportunity to congratulate His Majesty Haitham bin Tariq Al Said who ascended to the throne of Oman on January 10, 2020 after the sad news of the passing away of Sultan Qaboos Al Said.

We are honored that the Sultan is a BHS Old Scholar as he enrolled as a boarder at BHS from 1970-1972 when he was 15 years old.
We are confident in his success as the new ruler of Oman and are sure that the Sultanate will flourish further under his leadership.
