I hope that this letter finds you safe, healthy and surrounded by your loved ones in these turbulent times the world is going through.

2020 has been a difficult year everywhere, but more markedly in Lebanon where a number of factors such as the deterioration of the socio-economic situation, the political turmoil and instability, the August 4 Beirut Port explosion as well as the soaring USD exchange rate vis a vis the LBP, all collided with the uncontrollable spread of the Covid-19 virus and caused havoc in the country.

It saddens me to see that the situation in Lebanon is not getting any better and more people are finding themselves struggling to keep a job, pay rent, pay for food, afford decent medical care and more importantly, pay their children’s school tuition.

As Lebanon continues to go through troubling times, the BHS OSA reaffirms its commitment to stand by our community and BHS students in need.

Today, parents of BHS students who are facing dire financial difficulties, need our immediate support.

The OSA Financial Aid program that was established last summer by the OSA Board of Trustees (BoT) to help needy students pay their tuition fees, has been very active since its establishment.
Eligible students apply directly at the OSA. Their applications are confidentially scrutinized and reviewed by an independent committee that makes the decision on how much aid will be granted to each eligible applicant.

To date, more than 60 students have benefited from the OSA Financial Aid program, with many more applications in the pipeline.

Our aim is to help as many needy students as possible.

 To do that, we urgently call upon all our members around the globe to help by donating to the OSA Financial Aid fund either through the OSA website (www.bhsosa.net), click on 'Member's Area' for transactions up to 1500$ or through the following banks:
