Dear All,

We have received the news of the passing away of Old Scholar and former President of the Old Scholars Association Dr. Elias Shammas ‘60, with great sorrow.

Dr. Shammas will always be an important pillar of the OSA community and served the OSA wholeheartedly during his tenure as President from 2005 until 2010. He remained active and supported the OSA and BHS throughout his life.

The funeral will take place on Thursday August 11, 2022, at 1300hrs, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Achrafieh.

Condolences will be accepted on Thursday August 11, 2022, from 1100hrs till 1300hrs at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Achrafieh and on Friday August 12, 2022, from 1100hrs till 1800hrs at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Achrafieh, and on Saturday August 13, 2022 from 1100hrs till 1800hrs at St. Marina Greek Orthodox Church, Amyoun.
