Dear Old Scholars,

This is to inform you that the General Assembly of the BHS Old Scholars Association was successfully held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 5:00 pm, in accordance with our Association’s bylaws and the governing laws and procedures regulating associations in Lebanon.

The meeting was attended by a number of Old Scholars and conducted in the presence of our legal counsel to ensure full transparency and legal compliance.

Since the first meeting did not achieve quorum, we went on to the next meeting whereby the elections for the new OSA Administrative Committee were held with everyone present at the OSA office.

All 10 candidates who submitted their nominations were successfully elected.

Once the candidates were elected, the newly formed OSA Administrative Committee had their first meeting and made the following appointments as follows:

2. Vice President: Edmond Goraieb ‘88
3. Treasurer: Emily Kanaan Salem ‘82
4. Secretary: Rana Sawaya ‘87
5. Member: Samir Halawi ‘63
6. Member: Tarek Baajour ‘66
7. Member: George Obeid ‘78
8. Member: Jocelyne Kordahi ‘88
9. Member: Shadi Assal ‘97
10. Member: Nicole Abu Jawdeh ‘97

We extend our warmest wishes to the former OSA Administrative Committee members who worked hard and served the OSA tirelessly from 2018 till 2025, and we would like extend our sincere congratulations to the new OSA Administrative Committee and thank all the Old Scholars who participated in this important milestone.
