A message from BHS Principal, Mr. David Gray to our dear Old Scholars:
Dear Old Scholars,
I am delighted to wish you a good year ahead, having had, I hope, a pleasant summer with some opportunity for rest and relaxation. The good news is that we are forming a permanent choir at Brummana High School which will consist of Upper School Students, parents, staff and Old Scholars of the school. Students and adults will rehearse and be trained separately but will perform together on five occasions during the school year, including for Founders’ Day, Independence Day, at Christmas, at Easter and at Speech Day in June (Saturday, June 27th). We are fortunate to have secured the services of Cheryl Khairallah as choir mistress (she has trained the school choir for the past two years) and she will lead the staff/parents/Old Scholars rehearsals which will take place every Monday evening from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the Khoury Hall. If you are a keen singer and would like to be part of the proposed choir, and if you have time to rehearse regularly at the time and on the day of the week proposed, Cheryl would be delighted to see you. I hope that 2019/2020 will be a joyful, harmoniously musical one for Brummana High School.
