RT#13 Dealing with Anxiety in Times of Crisis

The BHS Old Scholars Association has the pleasure to invite you to our 13th Round Table / Workshop entitled
‘Dealing with Anxiety in Times of Crisis’ with guest speaker, Ms. Hala Naffah,
on Thursday March 19, 2020 at 11:00 am at the OSA House in Brummana.

Ms. Naffah graduated from BHS in 2003, then earned a Master’s Degree in Psychology from AUB in 2014. During that time, she also completed a clinical psychology training program with emphasis on adult psychotherapy at AUBMC.

She proceeded to earn a postgraduate certificate in cognitive behavioral therapy for psychological trauma and a postgraduate diploma in cognitive behavioral therapy for complex presentations from the University of Oxford.

She has worked as a psychotherapist in the outpatient department and the psychiatry inpatient unit at AUBMC as well as the International Medical Corps (an international NGO).  

She currently teaches psychology at AUB, works as a psychotherapist at Restart Center for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Torture and Violence, and has her private clinic within the team of Nawfal Clinics.

Ms. Naffah will be leading a highly anticipated interactive workshop about anxiety, how to identify it, and how to deal with it in times of crisis.

She will also teach the attendees relaxation techniques that will help in reducing every day anxiety and stress.
