The 29th OSA International Convention
on Jun 07 2023

Dear All,

This summer is looking to be quite a busy summer in Lebanon as media outlets predict that more than two million visitors will be visiting Lebanon and hotels around the country are already declaring full occupancy.

I - along with all the Lebanese people – am hopeful that a President will be elected shortly, to take the reigns and guide the country into a brighter future.

The OSA Administrative Committee and I would like to invite you to attend the 29th OSA International Convention, which will be taking place in Brummana and the BHS vicinity, on July 7and 8, 2023.

The two-day event will reunite Old Scholars from across the years and from around the world

Day1: Friday July 7, 2023:

A casual Get Together at Fertiil Pub at the Garden Hotel in Brummana at 8:00 pm onwards where Old Scholars can gather, share stories, and enjoy each other's company. This event will provide a chance to catch up with old acquaintances and network with fellow Old Scholars and have a wonderful time!

Day 2: Saturday July 8, 2023:

The morning will start at school with a traditional Mankousheh Breakfast outside the Meeting House, followed by the General Assembly, during which we will discuss updates about the OSA, BHS and plans for the future.

In the evening, starting 7:00 pm, we will all gather at the Old Pubs Road in Brummana for our much anticipated Street Party, where the street will be filled with food and nonfood kiosks, music, and lively entertainment as well as an amazing firework show to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of BHS.

Since the Street Party is open to the public, we encourage you to bring your family and friends as we are planning a wonderful evening!
We will be sharing more details soon; and we hope to see you all there!
If you have any questions or need further information, please don't hesitate to reach out to the OSA office at [email protected] or call us at 00961 24 964 454.
We look forward to seeing all of you at the 29th OSA International Convention, so be many!

I SERVE,
Nazih Khattar '66
President
